Welcome to Bayou Blue Elementary.
I am excited to be working with such a talented and dedicated staff in a school where parents are supportive of our efforts. Children are our greatest natural resource. We take seriously our responsibility to nourish, protect, and develop children to their fullest potential. You have enrolled your children in an outstanding school where we make a difference by helping each child reach their fullest potential. We believe that our true mission is to provide our students with the knowledge and decision-making skills necessary to assume their roles as leaders in this world. As a school community we believe that each child possesses endless potential and that our most important job is to unlock that potential. We are proud of each of our students and celebrate their differences.
In order to accomplish this mission, we recognize and value that parents are the most important adults in a child’s life. We applaud each of you for the care and love you show your children and appreciate that you have chosen Bayou Blue Elementary as your child’s school.
We are proud of our school, and we want you to be too. Our goals for this year are that every student will be reading on grade level by the end of the year as well as being proficient in grade level mathematics. They will accomplish this by focusing on daily attendance in school for success. I am proud to be the Principal of this great school and to be working with such wonderful parents, students, and staff. Have a great year!
